British Poet

Sometimes there's a British Poet, living inside of me, fighting to get out. Not the brightest, or the most eloquent, but committed to poetry and self expression and admirably unfettered by self-judgment. Finding their way towards freedom. Poetry might not be your cup of tea, it might very well be the British Poet's absolute favorite. Give yourself a chance to be as brilliant as you are, and at the very least, give yourself the opportunity to get gritty and for fucks sake, just say it, or write it, but put yourself to it before it slips away. As bleak and dreary as the British Poet might be, self-aware of his own intellectual limitations, he writes abundantly. Not concerned with fear, only freedom, getting participation points.
